Meet the Doctor
Dr. Renee Gilmore is a New Jersey native who obtained her doctorate of chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in biology from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina.
In 1996, Dr. Gilmore graduated from chiropractic school and relocated to South Carolina. While residing in South Carolina, she managed several offices in Columbia, Orangeburg and Winnsboro further enhancing her professional knowledge and skill. In July 1998, she relocated to Charlotte and in September she opened a private practice located inside of World Gym. This location allowed her to work with amateur and professional athletes.
To add to her repertoire Dr. Gilmore was the team chiropractor for the Carolina Cowboys (a charlotte semiprofessional football team) and the Olympic high school girls and boys varsity basketball teams. She is the chiropractor for her nephew Aaron Scott who was a basketball player at the prestigious Oak Hill Academy and the University of California, Riverside.
When not working with patients, Dr. Gilmore participates in community health fairs and screenings and speaks at schools and organizations. Dr. Gilmore is board certified and licensed to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina and has also passed the National Chiropractic boards which enables her to practice in 35 other states.
Dr. Gilmore is a certified chiropractic extremity practitioner, which means she has extensive training and experience in extremity joints such as shoulders, ribs, arms, wrists, fingers, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.
